Recyclable Lidding Film for Ready Meal Trays

Description

We supply 2 different types of Lidding Film to suit the Ready Meal Trays we supply.

Seal Options

• Peelable Seal – This provides a strong seal but the film can be peeled from the tray. This is more suited for operations where the product is being supplied directly to the end user and multiple trays will not be stacked on top of each other. This film is suitable for use in the oven so the film can be left on the tray during the cooking process, however piercing may be required depending on the tray type. This film type can be recycled.
• Weld Seal – This provides the strongest seal type and the film has to be cut from the tray. This is more suited for operations where foods is being pre-prepared and the trays will be stacked directly on top of each before being sold. This film is suitable for use in the oven so the film can be left on the tray during the cooking process, however piercing may be required depending on  the tray type. This film type can be recycled.

The thickness of both film types is 25 micron.
